TOP RIZZ RADIO and the TOP RIZZ INTERNATIONAL platform were created by musicians, for musicians. Our mission is to give artists a free, safe, and respectful space to showcase their music, where their intellectual property rights are protected and their work is treated with integrity.
We play both unknown and established artists, aiming to reach listeners who genuinely want to support independent talent. We believe in what we are building, and we are committed to giving artists a real chance to be heard.
Our first sponsor was MKL FINANCE LTD, part of the MKL GROUP of COMPANIES, whose support helped us lay the foundation for what TOP RIZZ is today.
A major part of our journey began thanks to JP‑MASSIVE, who was based at Cally Road Studio. His work made it possible for us to record the Captain Rizz Manifesto album. That recording opened the door for Captain Rizz & The Rizz Posse to tour with the legendary Hawkwind. The tour was a major success, and Captain Rizz later went on to headline shows across the Czech Republic, Slovakia, and Poland.
Those foundations were laid many years ago, and sadly, two of our close friends are no longer here to be recognised for their part in that journey. The strong response to the Rizz Anthem video inspired us to build our own independent structure,TOP RIZZ INTERNATIONAL MUSIC, the TOP RIZZ INTERNATIONAL platform, and the TOP RIZZ RADIO website.
The photo above shows JP MASSIVE, GW Drumton, and Captain Rizz, three of the members who recorded the Captain Rizz Manifesto album. Despite our work, we have received nothing, and the album was still being sold without our consent on Amazon, HMV.co, Discogs.com, Fye.com, Ebay.com, and Allmusic.com. This was why Captain Rizz and JP MASSIVE came together to build something independent, transparent, and artist‑focused.
Despite the history we built together, the friendship between Captain Rizz and JP‑MASSIVE eventually came to an end. But the mission did not stop. JP‑MASSIVE carried the vision forward alone, protecting the legacy and ensuring the work we started would not be lost. He secured the official trademark for TOP RIZZ INTERNATIONAL, along with the TOP RIZZ clothing brand, so the name, the message, and the movement would remain in the hands of the people who created it, the musicians.
We also honour the memory of Simon “Teepee” Turner and Jason Stewart (Fish), the keyboard player, both in the photo below each side of Captain Rizz. Close friends who are no longer with us. The Rizz Anthem video was created as a tribute to them. We want to thank all the passionate musicians who have joined and supported the TOP RIZZ INTERNATIONAL MUSIC PLATFORM and TOP RIZZ RADIO.
